Careers
At Woolmer Hill School we are committed to providing students with information, advice and guidance appropriate to their needs within the framework of the Gatsby Benchmarks.
Our main objective is that all students achieve the best they can both in terms of academic excellence at school and in the future. The school aims to have no NEET students after leaving. It is our objective to ensure that all students have a place in education, employment or training on leaving us.
Careers Guidance is delivered through Identity lessons at KS3 and KS4 and through the tutor programme for both KS3 and 4. It is also delivered through class, small group and individual sessions delivered by our independent careers advisor.
At Woolmer Hill School we work closely with our local Federation of Schools and all students in Year 10 have the opportunity of attending careers and skills fairs.
