Staff Recognition
At Woolmer Hill School we are very lucky and proud to have supportive families who understand the importance of nurturing young people as they make their way through secondary school and into adulthood.
We are also very proud of all our staff (teaching and associate staff) and how they support and care for our young people; helping them to learn safely in the school environment and helping them to achieve as highly as they can in their chosen qualifications. Our staff also work hard to uphold our core values and are Proud to Belong and Proud to Achieve, and they recognise students for doing the same.
The Staff Recognition Scheme has been set up so that parents, carers, governors, staff and members of our community can show their thanks to any Woolmer Hill staff who they feel have been integral to their young person's development or who have supported families and students during their time at Woolmer Hill.
The two categories for nomination are:
PROUD TO BELONG
Nominations for this category could include, for example; supporting the wellbeing of students, parents or those in wider the community; fostering a sense of community and belonging for students or parents; being approachable and responsive; engaging students in co-curricular activities and trips beyond the classroom; always giving time to listen to students or parents and show they care.
PROUD TO ACHIEVE
Nominations for this category could include, for example; going above and beyond to support a child's progress; additional revision lessons; inspiring a student to believe in themselves; being innovative and creative; motivating students.
To communicate your thanks and reasons for nomination you can complete the form below. This will be acknowledged by Miss Talbot and forwarded to the recipient.
