1/07/2025Year 7s recently attended the 'Henry VIII on Tour' Tudor Festival at Hampton Court Palace and were all super excited to be part of such a fun, interactive event.
From bowing at Henry's feet to experiencing sword fighting lessons, everybody got involved and made us proud of their enthusiasm and attitude to learning.

Expansion project
Due to student numbers having risen to our new maximum capacity of 900, we are delighted that our new extended and enhanced learning accommodation is now complete and open for use. This includes:
- New English block with six new classrooms and a new library
- Drama studio extension
- Food pod (additional food servery)
In addition, as part of our expansion project, a new hard surface play area was constructed over the Summer of 2023.

30/06/2025Our Year 9s recently took part in their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze one-night training session, and the weather was on their side.
With beautiful views and lots of happy faces, they completed the practice, gaining essential skills for work and life.

24/06/2025Williams F1 Trip:
Students and staff had an incredible time on a guided tour of the Williams Museum, home to all of the Williams F1 cars from the past 50 years. Students raced against each other in the Williams E-sports Lounge, competing on 4 different F1 tracks using the most up-to-date simulators.
As part of a composite materials challenge, they engineered nose cones to protect their drivers, learning about 'crumpling' to absorb momentum before crash testing their designs.
Williams staff were incredibly complimentary about our students, praising their politeness, enthusiasm for every task and excellent oracy skills.

On Friday, students and staff gathered in the sunshine on the school field to create a rainbow flag and collect money on behalf of @switchboardlgbt, the national support line for LGBTQIA+.
