Parent Governor

I am a mum of two children, one of whom is at Woolmer Hill School.

My career has been in communications, so I am passionate about effective communication and in keeping people informed and advised. I have worked in a number of sectors including Telecoms, Utilities, Land Development, Renewable energy and ran my own PR business for over 10 years. More recently I have supported housing and leisure centre development projects within the public sector.

I am passionate about

Our children: their schools, safeguarding, education and opportunities,

Our environment: managing water, waste, climate change and energy,

Our society: people, policy, development and green space.

I volunteer where I can to support local clubs and am a Foundation Governor at a local infant school. Like many parents, I spend most of my time supporting my children and taxiing them around but when there is spare time you will find me in the garden or walking the hills.

I warmly welcome the opportunity to be part of this Governing team, and look forward to providing a parents' perspective to support the school.
